How do you take the British Basketball League to new heights, literally?

We were asked to do something that would put the British Basketball League on the map, add value for partners, generate hype, earn media attention, and drive ticket sales for the finals at the O2.

World first

That's why we created a world first, an exclusive half-court dunk challenge on top of The O2.

We knew that challenging Blake "The Showman" Bowman to a dunk contest on top of The O2, with its impressive 360 views, would create unique, head-turning content.

But bringing together a wealth of sports and lifestyle influencers, we knew we would be able to drive reach even further.

With space at the top of the O2 limited, we decided to send a small 3-person on-the-roof crew of Self Shooting Producers supported by dramatic shots from our drone team.

The results

The results, a high-tempo slam dunk film and behind-the-scenes edit that has delivered over 650k views to date on YouTube. The stunt and films were also featured in high-profile national media outlets, including Sky Sports, The Mirror, Daily Mail, The Express, and several global endemic media titles.
